How to apply Strahlfoili
Strahlfoili is easy to apply to the horse's hoof! Pick out the feet, brush well (goes well with a wire brush), apply generously to the desired areas on the hoof & that's it!

How often do I need to apply Strahlfoili?
In acute cases of thrush, apply once a day for 10 days. After the intense period, apply 2-4 times a week for care and prevention.

What does Strahlfoili help with?
Strahlfoili is suitable for external use on the horse's hoof and helps against thrush, bacteria in the white line (white line disease), cracks, hollow wall in the case of infections or laminitis and for general care of the sole of the hoof.

Can I use Strahlfoili in 24/7 turnouts?
Yes, Strahlfoili can be used on horses on pasture or 24/7 turnouts.

How long do I have to hold up the hoof before Strahlfoili is dry?
Not at all, the horse can put the hoof down directly after the application of Strahlfoili.

Do I have to cover Strahlfoili with a hoof wrap?
No, Strahlfoili can be used on both barehoofed and shod horses and does not need to be covered. If your horse needs a hoof dressing for an abscess, Strahlfoili can also be applied under the hoof dressing to combat bacteria. Strahlfoili can also be applied under a hoof boot.

Can I use Strahlfoili with pads and special shoeing?
Yes, horseshoes, pads and cushions should be applied after using Strahlfoili. Strahlfoili is well tested and does not react with pads or polyurethanes from known manufacturers.
